I've only been working with the button 'testlink1' and haven't tried to link to any of the other objects.
My file is attached.
Many thanks

Two mistakes I see:
1. You had changed the link of one of the objects in the soft group while you had to chenge the link of the entire soft group. So, select your button by simple click, without holding Ctrl key. And then enter your URL.
2. You had not disabled automatic address correction so it made it into: "http://isleofman.pdf". This is not exactly what you need.
John.
Hi
I unticked the 'update address automatically' option so I just have isleofman.pdf. I clicked apply.
Unfortunately the link still isn't working.
I exported my website to c\mydocuments\xwdstjosephs and put the isleofman.pdf in there.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Maddie
I didn't understand what you meant there.
Why would I have to select the entire group when I only want to set a link for one hotbutton? I just left clicked on one hot key and right clicked to web properties to set my url.
Thanks
Maddie
Just try this one.
John.
That didn't work unfortunately.
I'll leave it for now but thanks for your help.

Hi
I took your first solution of actually adding the file via the ftp server first and then linking the url to the document. It worked!
Sorry for this taking a while to sink in, I still don't know why I couldn't get the file to link previously, but now at least I have a solution.
Thanks again
Maddie
