Well if we view it as an upright figure, waving his arms in the air, perhaps he's happy to have two pairs of arms, two pairs of legs and what appears to be two, erm...cough, um... you know.....

That's funny....brought a smile to my face. I'm still not going to fall for that 'spiders are harmless' theory though.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

It's a phenomenon that most people are naturally afraid of spiders. In reality, mosquito is far more dangerous, never mind the hornets or bees.
I mean most spiders. There are dangerous species of course but they are far less common than all the dangerous insects which don't look so scary.
Well, maybe unless you live in Australia.

Awwwww, that's cute! But why did Mother Nature think a smiling human face would look dangerous??? Happy Earth Day!

There's a lot of spiders here in Oz, mostly the harmless nuisance messy ones (that build webs all over the place which attract)
The Sydney Funnel Web has been said to be the most venomous, though the Guiness Book of records lists a Brazilian Spider as the most deadly in the world which aside from causing intense pain followed by death if not treated, the venom of the spider can also cause priapism (male victims only)

We have two types of poisonous spiders in my local area. The Black Widow and the Brown Recluse.

Neither are truely deadly unless you happen to be allergic to the venom.

The bite of a Black Widow can make anyone sick and the Brown Recluse venom can cause flesh decay resulting in a hole in the area of the bite.

Neither are aggressive and prefer to run and hide if allowed to do so.
