    Default Paste to replace

    Hi,

I'm missing one feature particularly from Adobe Fireworks which was originally a user written extension but now comes in as standard feature. In Fireworks that is called "Paste in Place", but since Xara has a different meaning for it, instead it could be called "Paste to replace" which in fact describes it better.

This is how it works; copy any element/s on clipboard, then select any number (1-n) of any elements and perform "Paste to replace". As a result all the selected objects are replaced by the one on the clipboard. The replacement position is calculated from the top left corner of each element.

I find this a very handy feature to carry out tedious copying tasks with just a few clicks. On top of that it is very precise method too.

    Fingers crossed...

    Default Re: Paste to replace

Sounds like a very useful feature. I could have done with this feature in Xtreme this morning and it would have saved me about 5 minutes work.
