    Default newbie - add animations

I'm VERY new to web design. I've been asked to help design a website for an organization, kind of thrown into the fire.
Anyway I have some animations that are at this time a movie clip that I can see in my WMP. How do I convert it so that it is able to play as part of my home page, I believe it needs to become a compatible with flash player. I'm using XWD
Please pardon my ignorance, I'm trying to learn quickly...

Any insight would be much appreiciated!!

    mmorse79,

You can do a google search for whatever extyension your file is in, like .avi to swf converter. There are several free ones out there. After you get it converted, you can use a place holder to insert your swf file.

    Hope this helps you....
