Inspiration for Clan website design

Hi i am building a site for a friend it is a clan website for call of duty modern warfare it must have a military feel to the website i have started collecting inspiration however was wondering if anyone has any links to well designed military feel/mood web sites, thanks

For the question, just google battelfield 2 etc, and many sites
for clan's will pop up, so enough comparitive material I would say.
or try the militairy recruitment sites of many countries/nations, I'll bet they
also have a certain design.

I've spent quite a bit of time at the CoD4 Forums and think their setup is pretty nice. It's probably a similar theme to what you're going for.

I agree - this is not a place to turn a member's request for web design idea's into a crusade about the morals of game creators and any perceived negative affect such creations may have to the behavior of teenagers. Please take this kind of discussion to the Off-Topic forum (if at all).
