Actually never saw that one, and I was on the grid here by that date,
    weird.

And why didn`t anyone redirect him there, could have saved me
    alot of work

But I did it a bit different. I made two spinning 'pills'
opened two XX4's and copy pasted one pill to the all
the seperate layers in the other XX4 I had both 'pills'
in the right frames in one XX4, then I overlayed one 'pill'
over the other and per frame I used the transperancy tool
to show just enough of one of the 'pills' so the animation would
look smooth. You see, a different approuch.
('pill' = well, the pill shape like you see in my x3d example and like
simsmj made in the other thread.
After that I made a outcut square and per frame subtracked shaped them
into the shape of a can.)

    Hi All,

I have been using Xara products for a couple of months now and I feel confident to add my first creation to this site. I thought I'd have a go at the spinning can. After much trawling of the brilliant forums & tutorials here, this is the result. Thanks to all the Guys on here taking time to offer help & advice.

I created two GIFs in X3D6. A basic can & a "Pill" with the graphic (Just an album artwork selected at random) as demonstrated by Ankhor.

In XXPro5 I imported the two GIFs. Cut the label shapes from the "Pill" and pasted onto the basic can. Frame by frame.

Now to attempt a favourite can of mine "Speckled Hen". Also try to get the back of the can right, not a reverse of the front

    Cheers,
    Fred.

Use the transperancy tool for the back.
I made two the same pills with different textures.
one became the front the other the back it is only a
thing to place them in the right frames then.

There might be other or easier ways to do it,
but this was my way. a lot of frame by frame work.
