    Default Picture question...

I have seen a lot of web sites where pictures scroll across a frame and if the user places his cursor over the frame, the pictures stop scrolling until the cursor is removed and if the picture is clicked, it pops up a window with that current picture.

Does anyone know how I can do that or what I need to accomplish this?

    An help is appreciated..

    Thanks

Hi Razzle, yes please share what you have found.

I know there are many free scripts around that can scroll images with a start stop mouesover actions.

Here is an Up/Down scroller at Dynamic Drive.
    And a left/right scroller.

and if you managed to get a free script working properly in Xara-WD please share your approach -ideally with a simple .web example. Many of us here are script-challenged, myself included, and can use all the help we can get!

    Cheers!

I apologize for not sharing.... After I posted, I starting searching the net and found Flash Slide Show Maker and it creates the effect that I wanted and in XWD, just link to the flash file.

Again, sorry, just thought I was wasting peoples time by putting a post up and then finding the answer...

    Hope this clears that up...

But it isn't freeware unfortunately, only 'free' to download. Cost USD49.95.
Created slide shows are 'DEMO TEMPLATE' watermarked on every image and "Created by Flash Slideshow Maker
Order full version now to remove software logo at the end of slideshow. "
appears at the top of the window throughout.

Jalbum http://jalbum.net/ is freeware or shareware (it's up to your conscience). It is an excellent way to create Flash-based slide shows and you can upload the show right to your server.
