This is a combination of several different stereogram methods but does it work? It's a toss up.

Yep, works for me Gary...
So, are you building up some funds for a trip to Australia ?
Save some weight, 2c coins a no longer in circulation
It works great. I see 7 coins floating around.
Things you should never say when pulled over by the police:
Could you hold my beer while I dig out my license?
Love it! Great work Gary. Any chance of a tutorial?
One of the few that work for me. I see seven coins floating, too. I wonder if they are the same ones, Nancy?

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Very nice, a new 'spin' on an old technique
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:
Avoiding Manual Labour.
Actually an old and new technique. The background is is a hidden image stereogram with the floating coins as the hidden image and the crease towards the middle thing.
Then the visible floating coins are a mapped texture stereogram, which I probably will cover for my next tutorial.
Here are the steps for this image.
The depth image. The coin circles have gradient fills to give the coins a rotated effect.
The repeating panel for the hidden image stereogram and the color image for the mapped texture stereogram. Both work with the depth image but in different ways.
The two resulting stereograms.
The floating coins image is placed over the hidden image.
Mehdi Eraser filter is used to remove the black background.

Good stuff, Gary. These new types of stereograms are amazing.
This is one I actually can see, but maybe not. I am seeing 14 floating coins, and everyone else says there are 7?
The more I stare at, and study, this stereogram, the more I appreciate the combination of effects that went into creating it. Most excellent! Thanks for including the mini-tutorial, Gary.
I'm glad it was coins instead of cookies! We don't want anyone tossing their cookies.
Always a pleasure seeing your creations,
Harry
