Flash Menus in Web Designer

This Thread has to do with problems while trying to implement flash in navigation

This is an example of a flash menu created completely inside Xara Web Designer.

Quality of animation was not what I was aiming for, so please be polite with me on this. With a bit of intention I ‘m sure you can do much better than me.

Slight problem In IE each mouseover only works once, whereas in Firefox it works everytime. Any ideas?

John I did not test it in every browser to tell you the truth. Maybe covoxer or Sledger be able to figure out what 's going wrong with IE handling of this flash menu. I 'm not very familiar with such browser compatibility problems.

You and me both But I didn't know it was even possible to load Flash on a layer anyway so thanks

I'm looking at the IE issue.
Meanwhile, red_sting, you can even place flash on MouseOver layer. So your page may not need those three popup layers.

Thanks Covoxer. I need your help on something else. I am trying to add to the header of my page a smoothscroll.js in order to scroll to links instead of jump to them.
I named an object <header> and the same object used it to pass the link to script.
is this how it is done or I am missing something.
