Need some creative ideas!!

Hey guys.

For my Art project, we are working on the topic, Layers.

I'd love to include some digital work in my sketchbook, so wanted to do something in Xara.

But, I can't think of any cool ideas to do! I was hoping you guys could give me a hand I was thinking maybe of doing something with revealing layers, and showing a layer underneath another sort of!

I'm an old fart who can barely remember what he had for breakfast let alone his education so forgive me if I'm less that helpful. However, rather than do something that is "cool", would you not get more brownie points if what you created was "relevant"?

If you want to do something that is relevant and cool, draw a picture of a lady in underwear (in my day you'd lose points if you drew her naked because you'd have crossed the line between tasteful art and porn). Then on separate layers, add trousers, blouse, jumper, hat, coat, scarf, you get the idea.

If that isn't cool, then nothing is. I have overheated my brain now for one day. I need to rest. Where's the Clonazepam?

Pfttt. Don't be silly! Your idea was actually quite good. Although I might not actually use the lady idea (Teachers STILL don't see the difference between art and porn), it still has become useful that you've shared this idea with me.

I was thinking of doing an Angel, and parts of the Angel (The head, tail, hands etc) could be revealing a layer underneath of a Devil. What do you think?

And how could I do that ^ in Xara?

One more question guys. I want to create a title of writing, but instead of just colouring the text in a colour, I want a picture underneath, so you can see the image in the text if you know what I mean. If you don't, I can explain more.
