Transparency Issue

If someone could look at this sample .web I'd appreciate it.

Both objects on the page are set to NO transparency.

Why is the center section of the banner partially transparent?

Is this something I don't understand; or is it a bug??

Center Banner thing is a group, the center rectangle has lineal transparency on it, the grouped, and group has no transparencybut center retains its lineal transparncy

Actually you have a Linear transparency set for the centre of the banner.
You need to ungroup it first, then you can remove the transparency.
