XWD Registry Issue

After I reinstalled XWD, I updated the Registry with my saved customized toolbar set-up (as described in this thread).

However, when I started up the program, all the toolbars were completely jumbled. Not only were different buttons on different toolbars, even parts of the top bars of various galleries were included. Fortunately, I thought of making a screen grab just before I had finished cleaning up the mess.

So, any ideas what caused this?

Most likely it was caused by your security software. That could be 3rd party or Windows itself.

However, I should point out that using that technique is a use at your own risk method.

Xara does not recommend using that technique.

Microsoft doesn't recommend making changes to the registry unless you know how to correct any errors that may occur.
