Web site in more than one language?

Can someone tell me the basic principles of doing that?

There are a few ways of doing that.

In Xara Web designer terms you'd probably have a separate version of the website for each language, and language options would link between them - for example the french flag would take me to the french site, the welsh flag would take me to the welsh site,.. etc.

If there is server side scripting is involved, server side code can deliver language dependent strings and support a multilingual site that way (by supply different content according to language).

In terms of XWD, server side generation of content for a multilingual site is largely impractical since the text layout would change according to language.

So, if you want multiple languages on your site using XWD you'll probably end up duplicating the site for each language.
