New user here! I entered all of my keywords from my existing site (prior Frontpage). However, when I publish the page all of the keywords show up as print on the page.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Brandnewlife,
Where did you enter your keywords?
Could you attach your .web file to be examined?

Where are you entering your keywords?
See screenshot below.
And Welcome to the TG forums
Ah, Bill beat me while I was faffing around with a screenshot to attach
Here is the .web file for your review
Thanks so much for your help.
Jim
I am entering them exactly where you show them Sledger.
Except I entered them both on for the page and the website tabs.
Thanks,
Jim
Yes, remove them from the website TAB and the keywords no longer show in the page, but are still included in the source (from the page TAB).
Might be something John (Covoxer) needs to check out
EDIT: However!! I removed them from both tabs. Saved the file. Re opened it and re inserted your keywords to BOTH tabs again, now they no longer show on the page as before.
Smells like a bug somewhere..
Sledger,
I just did exactly what you explained and they are still showing up???? I am so confused.
I am copying and pasting the keywords from a txt file. Is that what you mean by "inserting"?
Thanks for your help.
Jim
Do they still show up if you open and preview my attached .web file?
No my friend, they don't. Whatever you did, you did it correctly. I gave up, so I just used your file and overwrote mine. I published it and it is working great. Thanks so much. I just don't what to do if I need to change the keywords again.
Thanks for your help my friend, it is appreciated.
Jim
Unfortunately, this is our mistake. The keywords (and description too) field has a limitation of 1000 characters. If you insert longer text it fails. You have inserted about 1400.
Sorry about this. We have already fixed it (there's still limit but now it's 32kb and is truncanting text instead of failing). This will be available in the following update.
Meanwhile you can either reduce your keywords list to 1000 letters, or, if really need more, you can use header placeholder instead.
John.
