    Default Corel Draw X3 Runtime Error

    Hello,

    My Corel Draw application crashes without warning, or at best, starts the Application Manager stating that the application has become unstable. the programs (Corel Draw 12 and X3) have been uninstalled, then re-installed, to no avail.

    Once the app manager has fifinshed, two error messages follow;

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Librar
    Runtime Error!
    Program:...\Corel\Corel Draw Graphics Suite 13\ Programs \ CORELDRW.EXE
    R6025 - pure virtual function call

    CORELDRW.EXE - Application Error
    The Exception
    Unknown software exception occurred in the application at Location Ox7c812aeb.

    Has anyone experienced this? If so, where can I find a fix? Continuously losing work despite saving the file routinely. Thanks in advance!

    Just check out the RAM of your system, if it is less than 1GB, upgrade it. I had faced this problem in past but up-gradation and Re-installation bailed me out .

    Hope it works for you too.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics.

    What operating system are you running? I have found many complaints from people after installing Windows XP SP3. Also are you running any anti-virus while installing software? Sometimes this can cause problems.

    Hi,

    Whenever I copy and paste from another document into corel draw x3, it gives me an error message saying that corel draw is "unstable".
    After that nothing can be saved or even if I want to go back (after restarting corel draw) the last saved thing I've worked on in Corel has gone blank when I open it.
    Can anyone please help me?

    From any other program - from my e-mails and from word documents, I can't copy from that and paste it in Corel Draw for some reason.
    I design ads and most clients send me the photo's and descriptions in an email - using Microsoft Outlook.
    But as soon as I copy the photo from that or even open it through Corel Draw it gives me the error message that Corel Draw is Unstable.
    I have to save everything first and import it into Corel draw for it to work.

    sounds like a memory problem

    if you are not having problems anywhere else then the physical memory [RAM] is likely ok

    but you should check that you have enough for the operating system you are using - coreldraw uses a lot of resource

    you could also try reinstalling it

    Had several problems with DrawX3 running on Windows XP.
    Ran the windows compatibility wizard, and made DrawX3 and PhotoPaint X3 use Windows 2000 compatibility mode.
    All problems solved, now runs without a hitch.
    Give it a try, it may work for you.
