Wont let me register

We just purchased the software, downloaded it and I'm trying to install it but I keep getting an error code. This is the message I get.

Error activating

Please check your firewall settings and try again. If the problem persists, please contact Xara support.

Error code:-1

I have turned off the firewall, disabled AVG software and nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions?

Hi Fuzzi,

Try resetting your router. This has sometimes caused me problems. Simply remove the power cord for about 15 seconds then plug it back in.

Perhaps your web provider is doing a bit of maintanence or something like that, it's happened to me before.

It could be as Nicky mentioned a temporary loss of access for port 443 due to some maintenance or other ISP issue.

I finally got it! I had to restart the computer and disable the firewall again. Must have been some kind of a glitch.
