That is strange. However copy and paste work from Xtreme to Web Designer.

Maybe something to do with WD not having support for many of Xtreme's LE's or third party plugins, etc.
Copy'n'paste doesn't always give you the same result either, where it does between different versions of Xtreme.
With WD, often when you paste something from Xtreme's clipboard, you need to select BITMAP rather than Xara document - which is ok, provided you remember that.

I have noticed if I use any live effects in Xara and try cut and paste - you lose the effect. I have to export the graphic and then import into XWD or like was said - use the bitmap paste in XWD
