Question on Installation (and re-installation)

Hi there,

I would like to take advantage of the XWD offer. My concern is that Windows on my (old) laptop is running very slowly. I'm considering formatting the hard drive and re-installing Windows. The problem is that I don't have the opportunity to do it right now, but I don't want to miss the offer's 'window'.

With no CD to re-install WXD, can I re-download the program post hard drive format/Windows re-installation?

P.S. Can I buy more than one 'copy' of the programme? I would like to give it to a friend of mine.

Hi Frank,

Once purchased, you will always be able to re download the software from your account area at Xara.
Just remember your login details and you're right to go

I see no reason why not.
Just be sure to register it under your friends name.

I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of registering the product under his name and details (as a new Customer). He will be sent the details to download and register the product, make sure you use his email address though.
You simply pay with your visa card.
