    Hello Simon,

I will go with sea number II. Just a touch more realism. The other was too abstract for me.
    I need that slight line...

Just for fun, here is a Hammond B3 organ that I created (along with 11 other classic keyboards) 4 years ago for my Vintage Keyboards Screensaver. It is based on photos from the Web and was drawn freehand rather than traced. All the woodgrain texture is XaraX fractal fills.

    Hi Simon,

Nice Hammond B3. Reminds me of the Church organ my mother used to have when I was a kid. Used to be directly under my bed, 1 floor down. Geesh, It used to cause some terrible hangovers (To be awakened at 5:30 in the morning by that monstrosity... After a saturday night of heavy carousing)

After I moved out, She would have me fix it every time I cam to visit.

BTW: Originally I was going to put " Nice organ there Simon" but thought better of it with this crew.

    Hi Simon,

cool Farfisa Combo Compact. Nice minimalist approach.

Here is my latest - it took about an hour. The shapes were traced by hand from a full-on photo of a Fender Precision Bass (I used a blend to place the frets!), and then I added the perspective in XaraX and used blends to add depth and create the hardware. I also added a subtle mould to the frets to make the fingerboard look curved.

    Simon,
Beautiful work. I'm one of those people Gary was refering to. I don't know when enough is enough or too much. Love the color contrasts in your drawings...
