Again, this is a very old thread and Xara has moved on since it was started.

Xara now offers a responsive approach with a Main site and any number of Variants.
Many initially chose one Main and two smaller Variants but the overhead for maintenance grows dramatically with each added Variant.

Then Xara came up with Scale to fit Width.
Most now concur a Main and a single Variant is sufficient - xaratempalates.com has opted for this and Michel designs hundreds of templates and his testing is quite rigorous.

Months ago Xara hinted at a different approach to website delivery but nothing has emerged.
One change would be a positive step - that of delivering a Conventional Main and a Scrolling (Supersite) variant (or the observe) as a site can only currently be one or the other.

Other than crafted both views separately and JavaScript to detect and switch on viewport change, does anyone have any developed solutions?
