    Default E-Commerce

If I want to sell a variety of items (couple dozen max) how can I integrate some kind of shopping cart, etc for simple ecommerce?

I'll be watching this thread with interest. I share the same concern about implementing e-commerce function within a xWD created website.

I actually thought about Google Checkout because I have it and have used it successfully. But my customer knows PayPal and trusts them. For good or bad.

This software add-in has some limitations (inventory control and handling multi-state tax, to name a couple), but it might be worth checking out. I think they're working on a new version to come out soon that implements tax handling better.

I actually decided to add a BUY IT NOW button from PayPal.

It went in with a placeholder and it was VERY easy.

I was thinking of removing the "Buy it now" and "Amazon" buttons and having a large BUY THE BOOK icon. When they clicked there it would have the 2 choices across the entire table and maybe an excerpt from the book.

Any thoughts on this? Or should I leave it as it is.

Whatever you decide, I suggest that you at least place to the two "buy" buttons next to each other. At first, I didn't even notice the Amazon button. This is also because the page a bit cluttered.
