Skew a non-rectangle?

Anyone know of a way to skew a shape other than a rectangle or doing it in Xara?

Rotate.
Resize horizontally (with proportions lock disabled)
Rotate back.

If I understand what you wish to do, select your shape with the selector tool and skew where outlined in red.
