    Jerfud,

Neat clip - but does it go with the site/theme? Most especially, the dark, almost goth sounding music does not sound like a comforting wedding day to me. I actually thought at the moment that turned on my speackers that there was going to be a joke or punchline to explain that the music is what you would feel like before using your services, but found it was the ad FOR your services.

I like the logo that you have at the beginning of that clip - you should be using that in the upper left of the site because it looks more professional.

Also, I've looked at the site a few times, and I'm just not sure about the pinkish-purple color.

These are all just opinions, of course. Glad to see you are making progress.

    Jopi, very nice site.

The only thing I missed was in the parfumerie.
It just shows the brands but not what is actually in stock
in the store. Maybe diverscify that a bit. Or give them links
to the sites of the brands themselves?

I have removed all of the recent off topic bikkering and nonsense.
Please let's return to showing Xara Web Designer built sites and discussing them politely.

Further sillyness will result in this thread being closed.

Well actually, some of it wasn`t just sillyness.
I still stand by my observation that the video
isn`t in theme with the site.

And I leave it at that before words and sentences
    get misinterpreted etc.

    Hi Jopi,

nice looking site. One little comment: I noticed a typo on the home page where it says "plantonextract".

    Apart from that, congratulations.

I haven`t looked yet, but the mistake in here
might not be the 'O' but a missing 'C' (or 'K'
since it is a dutch/flemish site.)

    plancton/plankton.

It could be the 'O' then it would be plantenextract.

I checked the site of the manufacturer, couldn`t
make out what it was to be
    extract from plants or plancton???

    Hello everyone,

This is not only my first post, but my first XWD created website. I love Xara Web Designer (actually I love all of their products I have seen so far - they are so beautifully and elegantly designed, easy to use yet very powerful - and also inexpensive).

I struggled and struggled to try to do what I wanted using CSS, and it was very frustrating to me. Then XWD comes to the rescue. Wow! Now building a website is fun!

    Here it is:

If anyone finds any mistakes let me know! Thanks!

    huuuman,

Looks pretty good. I only noticed a few things at first glance that I'd address:

    1. the hover effect on the menu to the left seems like it's a little taller than the item it hovers over. Not a big deal, and maybe you meant it this way, but I noticed it nonetheless.

    2. On the residential access packages, the text that you have in the boxes next to each of the pictures is a graphic, so it's not going to get into search engines and won't be read by a "screen reader for the blind". It's not this way on the public access page.

    Hope that helps.

I would agree with the other about the graphics but a more important issue is your site is mostly graphics there is no typed content as such, to gain good se rankings you need content that the se's can read Id look at that sooner rather than later.

Also your keyword could do with being expanded looking at your source you only have 4 or 5.

    Good luck nice looking site
I totally agree - its a lovely clear and soft site, simple yet well thought out!! Well done I really like it!

I did this site at no charge, took me a bit of time but XARA made it simple. I am not a professional web designer but this came out so good that I have been getting lots of kudos from the community and a few interest in have me design their site. Maybe this will turnout to be fruitful $$$ Thanks again XARA and especially to the forum, I think I wound up reading just about everything on the forum and it really helped me through and when I had questions the forum came through with easily understood instructions. Thank to all of you forummers. Andre, here is my new site devellopped with Xara Webdesigner and finished with Xtreme5 http://www.hawaiianshorescommunity.com
