Which Adobe Photoshop works best with Corel Painter?

all photoshop versions from 6 on at least will work with corel painter

it all depends what you want to actually do in photoshop [that you cannot do in painter]

Things I like to do are straight angles for when I create my starships as well as cricles and elipses.

And is it Adobe CS Elements or another Adobe Photoshop pregram?

ok - I would say download a trial of photoshop elements and see if you like it - it sounds as if it will do the things you need, if not you can try one of the other versions
