Question Any chance of getting the Scale stretch-attribute that was used in Xara ButtonBars?

I've been trying various workarounds to get circle, star, and diamond shapes to stretch properly (uniformally) with stretchy text but with no luck. I'm thinking that the Scale attribute would be the only solution to stretching shapes without causing distortion. Any chance of this being implemented into XWD in the near future?

Note: I tried cutting and pasting a text-and-object with scale capabilties from XaraPro4 but that crashed XWD immediately.

Won't holding down the CTRL key while dragging do this?

    Hi Nicky,

That is not what I'm asking. I'm looking for the stretchy text to scale (rather stretch) the button (shape) it is associated with.

Sorry, I thought you just wanted to scale a shape proportionately.
