    Default Playing audio files?

Sorry - I know this was asked but it was in the context of flash and my search on this forum didn't point to anything conclusive. My question - is there any way to include audio as background music, etc. using XWD?

I'm sure someone is going to tell me that there is a widget like the jukebox but all I want is audio that plays when a page is displayed or a button is clicked. Seems like pretty basic stuff but it may not be (what do I know)

    Thanks

Thanks - that miniplayer does the trick! I guess there's no end to the possibilities. I think it would have been consistent with the idea behind XWD to provide a more user-friendly way to perform this type of task.

For me, it's just a learning curve to climb.

    Many thanks,

    Steve

Glad it will work for you Steve.

From a programmers perspective I cannot think of an easier way then the placeholder method within Web Designer.

Well... Perhaps what's missing here is a library of useful widgets that ship with XWD that simply allow the user to drag and drop them onto the canvas (automatically creating the placeholder with the requisite html or swf linkages). Having this sort of interface would, in my opinion, be consistent with the ease of use offered by the rest of the product.

Being able to also save your own custom placeholders to this 'library' would be a natural extension of this IMHO.

    Thanks again for your help,

    Steve

You can do it right now. You can create your own gallery and add eny object you like to it. Including placeholders with snippets.
