Convert to Editable Shapes - A Workaround

You may have noticed there is no Edit > Convert to Editable Shape as there is in Xara.

The follow method gets around this, at least for rectangles and ellipses.

Right-Click on them and choose Combine Shapes > Add Shapes

Then you can use the Shape Editor Tool.

I haven't found a way to imitate the "Convert Line to Shape" function though.

Good tip. Also works for text.

I believe the keyboard shortcut works Shift Ctrl s. Oops! Nope. It does not.

I am not sure why as there are many other Xtreme keyboard shortcuts that work.
