The shape tool

I've clicked the Shape Tool and get what's in the image when creating stuff. The problem is that I can't get back to normal. How do I get back to normal shapes and text?

Your current active layer is a guideline layer. So you create guidelines, not objects. Select other layer for editing. You can also copy pase objects form this layer to others if you have alredy created them.

Ahh, I've been loading in different navbars from the themes to see if any would fit into a site I'm doing, didn't even notice that it loaded them into a guideline layer as I didn't have te layer panel open at the time. Thank you.
