The language looks like traditional Chinese. There are no Kana characters that would indicate it is Japanese.

I'm sorry we cannot read your language.

To have the text repel under it must be in a text area. Text columns do not repel.

To create a text area select the Text Tool then left click and drag diagonally to create the text area.

I tried XPro with a Chinese font that I had in my system and found the same as your self that Chinese is not supported and that the text does not flow around an object. I looked in support on the Xara site and did a google search and found no reference to the support of Chinese. It would be beneficial to you to contact Xara direct to see if Chinese is suported. Best of luck!

Google Language tools are fantastic. I've used them before on Chinese. Here's the orginal:

Thanks Chris. I believe Albacore is correct in saying that repel text does not appear to work correctly with Chinese fonts.

卡丁人's problem is easily replicated in English: just use a text column with no spaces between the words. Perhaps Xtreme doesn't recognise a space as a space when the words are in Chinese.

You can fall into the same trap with columns as you can with a line of text.
So the rule is, always draw a text area before entering or pasting text.
