To have the text repel under it must be in a text area. Text columns do not repel.

To create a text area select the Text Tool then left click and drag diagonally to create the text area.

卡丁人's problem is easily replicated in English: just use a text column with no spaces between the words. Perhaps Xtreme doesn't recognise a space as a space when the words are in Chinese.

That's because your example isn't a text column, it's a series of lines of text with returns at the end of them. It'd be repelled if you had a proper column: it might look the same but it isn't.

I realise you're only contradicting me because I'd disagreed with you in the past, so feel free to apply another infraction or ban me if necessary. I know you're being picky, you know you're being picky.

卡丁人's problem shows that Xara needs to look at how it handles repelling text where there are no spaces between the characters. Sledger, please don't destroy the thread's point when you butcher it to save face later.

I tried XPro with a Chinese font that I had in my system and found the same as your self that Chinese is not supported and that the text does not flow around an object. I looked in support on the Xara site and did a google search and found no reference to the support of Chinese. It would be beneficial to you to contact Xara direct to see if Chinese is suported.
