You give up to easily. Your fired! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif just kidding.
    Search your drives for *.dot

Check the properties, You should see the date the file was modified.
If you open the file with a text editor (notepad) it will have the same number of entries as the number of lines available in the outline pen.

Well guess what? The number of enteries are different than the number of lines available. Isn't technology fun? And by the way, you can't fire me, I quit. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yep, cause there is another file with the same name, that is the one your looking for.
Do a file search on your harddrive for it.

You can't quit your almost there. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yeah, it does work. This file really controls your dashed line styles. I was even able to delete those I made earlier. I didn't know how to go about doing that without Mike's tip. I changed the .DOT to .txt then edited it with notepad. Saved then changed it back to .DOT . Worked for me. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

OK, lets try this again...I wont quit I have doen the file ssearch and this is what I get. There are 2 files on my machine called CORELDRW.DOT. One is the old file from version 8, and one is the new file for version 12. Both files have 27 identical line styles and both are identical except version 8 has has a date of 2/26/97 and version 12 has a date of 12/16/2002.
In the CorelDRAW application there are 36 line styles. In corelDRAW 8 there are 28 line styles. Adding line style in the Corel applications DOES NOT affect these files. So...now what? IS this not the file I am looking for?

No, it should match the application exactly.
Perhaps your search is case sensitive, use lower case coreldrw.dot

    Looks something like this.

    2 1 1
    2 1 3
    2 1 5
    2 2 1
    2 2 3
    2 2 5
    2 5 1
    2 5 3

Yes, we are talking about the very same file.
    2 1 1
    2 1 3
    2 1 5
    2 2 1
    2 2 3
    2 2 5

    2 5 3
    2 5 5
    2 10 1
    2 10 3
    2 10 5
    4 5 1 1 1
    4 5 3 1 3
    4 5 10 1 10
    6 5 1 1 1 1 1
    6 5 3 1 1 1 3
    6 5 5 1 3 1 5
    4 5 5 10 5
    4 1 5 1 10
    6 1 5 1 10 1 10
    6 4 5 4 5 1 5
    8 1 5 1 5 4 5 4 5
    8 1 5 4 5 4 5 4 5
    10 1 5 1 5 1 5 4 5 4 5
    10 4 5 4 5 4 5 1 5 1 5
    10 1 5 4 5 1 5 4 5 1 5

There are a couple of line that are different, but that is to be expecteded.
Anyway...I'm tired of playing around with this. I have moved on to another way of handling this.
    Thanks all for the suggestions.
