    Default Carnations on the roof...

    I was initially a liitle bit surprised to see that the Final Taxi in Spain comes in all the colours of the rainbow. I imagined that they would be as sombre as they are in the UK, to quote Pete Atkin and Clive James;
“...a line of hired Humbers tagging quietly behind a fat Austin Princess with carnations on the roof.”
I googled for a “coche funebre” hoping to find an example, but the attached was the best I could find.
I thought I’d use Vector Magic to vectorise it and Xtreme to colourise the result to post here. I was able to remove most of the background, and I wanted to slice out an unwanted piece at bottom left below the number plate, the result was the graphic on the right, which has enlarged all the paths and made them transparent. I attach the .xar if anyone wants to work out how this may have happened.
I was being lazy, as I wanted to avoid spending days drawing the whole thing from scratch. Oh well, perhaps a project for the future.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Nancy your "beast" is progressing very well.

Bob I guess the traditional black is not always what people may want for their final "Taxi" ride.

This is my entry in the 2009 fruit Challenge in the Challenges forum. http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=36626

I love the tart and crisp taste of Granny Smith apples. Apple slices with a sharp Cheddar cheese make a great snack.

Bob, that's a fantastic and nicely scaled car that you made. I figure I won't care what color my last ride is in

Soquili....um, errr, your apple looks so real that it makes me pucker just looking at it, and I'm not kidding around. I can't stand anything tart and Granny Smith will just about do me in. Really true looking piece of art.

Thanks Nancy. Sorry about the pucker power of the image though.

    Default Mini-hearse

Using Cmone's mini car tutorial, I redesigned this hearse completely in Xtreme. I realise the redesign rather defeats the purpose of the car, but it was fun to make.
I was particularly pleased with being able to create the hidden part of the window of the building at the rear of the "hearse".

    Great looking apple Bill.

Nice work everyone. This is such a talented group.

Two 3D anaglyphs. You need the red and cyan glasses to see the 3D.

The anaglyphs were created in Zoner 3D Photo Maker but the left and right images were edited in Xtreme before exporting to PNG and opening in Zoner.

Great job on your mini car, Bob! Love how you incorporated the windows.

    Gotta love 3D...those really pop!

Here is another background for my new cartoon series. I put the scene together in Sketchup and use that as the basis for my final drawing. Too bad I can't use the Sketchup rendering as it would save me a lot of time. But I want a more cartoony effect. The SU model helps me to get the perspective and arrangement the way I want it, and that saves time.

Zeb, your cartoons and style are perfect for the genre. You do such a good job with it and they are fun to view. I'm playing a little game called Archibald's Adventure and the intro has similar graphic style. It is so fun and happy.

Suvek, now you're talking my style of art that I wish I could create. I love fantasy and fantasy art. I think that if I just keep working with XX I'll learn to use it like that someday. Thanks for sharing.
