Where has the preview option gone to when opening a cdr file in CorelDraw X4

Try this:

Press<F8>[keep it pressed] and run Corel Draw x4. A dialogue box appears which prompts to reset all settings to factory default, this will definitely bring back your "preview" option.

Tried pressing F8 as program starts (and resets to default settings) but still no preview option when trying to open existing cdr files.
