XARA Concept ART to 3D

So... I've been working in 3D a lot... going to school for video game art... and I've been trying to get as many people into XaraX as I can. I still use it for concept work and try to implement it as much as I can into my pipeline. Here are some examples.

Here are the character concepts I started out in Xara and used the template to build the character in a 3D application... it was my first attempt at a 3D characater so its not the best.



Also use Xara to make designs that can be used to produce normal maps which I find it really good for when making hard surface desings such as floor grates and what not



Used Xara X to build a Icon set... modified an existing Typeface to fit a specific design exported them as illustrator files and imported the vector into Maya which then converted them into 3D objects where I rendered the Icons
