Tabbed Interface

This is a simple request. I would liked to see the tab bar interface of XaraLX brought into XX and XXPro for multiple open .xar files. Should be a no brainer as the code was already written for XaraLX.

BTW, I just want to say "Thank you" to Sledger for starting this forum. I and others have requested a dedicated feature request/bug forum for some time.

The tabbed interface of XaraLX is very nice. We can only wait to see what future versions of Xtreme may profide.

The reasoning and decision behind the introduction of the Dear Xara.. forum was not mine in it's inception or mine alone in it's introduction.
Although I was already in favor of the idea, objective discussion was held between all involved with the running of TalkGraphics before setting up and enabling the new forum.

Now Tabbed Galleries would be nice I am for that. Now I have not seen or downloaded XaraLX so I have no comparison but is it like like the Adobe interface? I am acting here like at bit of a snob but because of having all the bought versions I had no interest and there must be quite a few others like me.

Now I have used GoLive since version 6 and it was the first programme that used this as an interface and it works although having used it in GoLive when Illustrator brought it in in CS3 I struggle for a month as it slowed my work flow.

If it improves the way gallerias work I am really for it.

I still like the idea, but I'm very used to using ctrl+TAB for switching between open xara documents now.

I vote for tabbed galleries too. Not too fussed about tabbed documents unless the tabs can be done a la Chrome to save real estate.

Not a lot.
It's like XaraX but with a TDI.



EDIT: A few minutes playing with the idea to show what a Tabbed Document Interface might look like in Designer Pro 6.
Aside from the obvious extra screen real-estate, I think it could be a useful UI enhancement?
