    Bug Bug: Pink Shadow

Sometimes, when creating new shadow by clicking "Glow", the shadow color pink. If you'll click "Wall" or "Floor shadow" before it — shadow will be normal, grey.

    Nope, it isn't checked.
And im saying, the shadow is pink only if ill click "Glow" first. And after clicking "Glow", the shadow is pink in "Wall" and "Floor" modes. But if i'll click "Wall" or "Floor" first, and then "Glow" — the shadow will be normal, grey.

Even if pink shadow is ok — there is a bug somewhere.

    Screen again.

this happens in xtreme 2 as well

click the shadow and recolor it

perhaps not what you would expect, but easy to overcome

The default colour for the Glow shadow is red with transparency so it appears to be pink.

The default colour for the Wall and Floor shadows is black with transparency so it appears to be grey.

If you apply the Glow shadow first then click either Wall or Floor the red colour is retained.

If you apply a Wall or Floor shadow first then click Glow then the black colour is retained.

If you apply a Wall or Floor shadow then select No shadow followed by selecting Glow shadow the red colour is used for the glow.

If you remove a Glow shadow before selecting either Wall or Floor shadow the black colour will be used for the shadow.

That is how the shadow tool works. There may be a bug in the code but it may also be the way the code is intended to work.

My aplogies Satyr I was incorrect about the 'give object most recent attributes'.
As I see it the shadow tool has two functions, to produce a drop shadow (as is cast by light on an object) or a 'glow' (as is seen from a light behind an object). Obviously one can't really have a black 'glow' so the default colour for a glow is red as Bill states.
This is also the same from X1 onwards - so yes I agree with Bill, this is they way it is intended to work.

Ok, thanks! I thought it was a bug, cause it works quite different to logic) And (shame to me) i didnt knew, what i can change the color of shadow.

The topic may be closed, now i'll wait for answers to topic "Page increase", cause it is more major.
