Extreme Newbie to Flash...

Okay - I need just a little more help (please?)

I need to edit my .swf file, and Xara doesn't recognize it! How do I edit a flash file? Or, do I have to start completely over? <banging head here!>

Can't you edit the saved .xar and re export it to .swf?

errr...I hate to admit this - but my system crashed while I was in the middle of working on the flash. I have the flash file because I had saved it and was trying to insert it into my .net code. In the middle of trying to figure that out - I had left Xara up in another window and my entire computer locked up (good ol' Microsoft!) and I had not saved all the flash as a .xar file yet! <bangs head!> oh well <sigh> at least now I know how to do it!

Well - now I should be ab le to re-create it pretty quickly...chalk this up to a learning experience - and I will be certain not to trust Microsoft with multiple applications open at the same time again, without saving everything first!
