Default It would be nice to have CMYK color space

It would be nice to have like illustrator a cmyk color setting for workspace so that any stock photos converted to cmyk brought into xara remain cmyk.o

Minimiro's 'training thread' was also used by Gary to create his workbook 49 on the matter.
    Freely available to all.

Thank you friends, yes I have used his template. Works well.
As I stated in another post problems arise with gradation of photo's over cmyk colors or even shadows and such.

    Example below.

I do a lot of work for print and a CMYK colour space would be fantastic!

Yes it would be nice but I wouldn't hold my breath for this to happen as RGB colour values are one of the core elements of this programme.

    Default Color Palletes

Please, add Standard CMYK color pallete in "Color gallery".
Allow creating of user defined color palletes.
Allow adding colors in "Standard (RGB) Pallete" and in the new "Standard CMYK Pallete" and in user defined palletes without deleting them when "Delete unused colors when saving and loading" in "Options / View" is checked.

RGB color space is OK for XX, but for XX Pro, which I suppose is specially designed for print, must be CMYK color space.

XX Pro Help, under "CMYK colors and transparency effects" stays:
This means that if objects are defined using CMYK colors, that any part of them that involve transparency of these effects will be output in RGB colors, and this can cause slight color shifts when printed on some devices.
This, and other similar problems, It must be corrected in the next version of XX Pro.

I think many of the CMYK problems mentioned are due to trying to use Transparencies and feathering.

A quote from Xara Help file:

    CMYK colors and transparency effects

When using any effect that involves transparency, including feathering, color calculations are performed in RGB. This is also true of live effects.
This means that if objects are defined using CMYK colors, that any part of them that involve transparency of these effects will be output in RGB colors, and this can cause slight color shifts when printed on some devices.
CMYK colors are best used when you require precise printed CMYK values (such as a company logo that has to be reproduced as an exact CMYK color), and thus typically would not be used with transparency or other effects that alter the color. It is therefore recommended that if using CMYK colors on shapes, that you avoid transparency or Live Effects on such shapes, or on any shapes that are on top or overlap.
