Building Menus

After months of working with PSP 10, suddendly it stops while Building Menus message appears and doesn't go on at all.
I Have unsinstalled the product, reinstalled it from scratch and the same thing happens.
Any help?

Try to reset the preferences (File - Preferences - Reset Preferences).

Reinstalling doesn't always work because not every single file is actually removed from your computer, and those that stay are most likely the ones that get corrupt and cause these problems. There is a program from Corel, however, zapps.exe, that is supposed to remove everything so you can have a completely clean install, so you could try it in case the reset doesn't solve the issue.

It used to be called ZapJasc but now it's called ZapPS. Running it removes any Windows Registry settings to do with
Jasc/Corel PSP and related products which might be left behind after an uninstall. You can find it the most current version here: ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/PaintShopPro/X/zapps.exe
