How much interest in a website making tutorial?

As for me, tutorials and TalkGraphics are how I am learning, or at least trying to learn. Mostly I do it because I love Xtreme and it’s fun, so keep up the good work Xhris.

Well maybe - it's nice to know how many people in the community really aren't bothered. I could argue there's no reason to have a 'no' answer for exactly the same reason.

Yes, I'm feeling a little grouchy!

If Xhris does the tutorial, I'm sure most people will give it a look over.

As for yes respondents - most people will respond yes when asked if they'd like something they don't have to pay for - it's just human nature.

I actually think the tutorial will be appreciated by many here.

As much as my site is up and more or less running, I will take any opportunity given to better understand the program, it's tips and techniques as offered by others as well as there concept of website application. I don't care if it covers things I may already know and so a refresher, I'm grateful for the chance to learn maybe the one or two things I didn't.

I have been following Gary's excellent tut to learn how make a website so that I can teach the process to my pupils. I have been able to follow and do most of what was explained in the tut. However there are still one or two things which are not clear to me namely getting the links right when text flows onto another page. Getting the text to flow is not a problem, but when looking at it the browser I can't get it open the second page with the overflow text.
I am always looking for material (tuts) to follow so I can improve my skill using Xara.

I have just worked partway through your tut on Flash animations and found it very profitable, thanks.

OMG, I finally finished it. It's the new record holder for size beating the previous record holder (transparency tutorial) by nearly 20%. 9.5k words. Only 22 pages though thanks to a new layout which all tutorials will adopt eventually. I've still got to proof read it tomorrow (busy tonight entertaining), and then I'll release it in a new thread. Then put it on my website at some point...

I don't think there's anything not covered in it, and it is exactly what Xara's help file should have been (and I wasn't even paid for this).

Well done Xhris.. I'm assuming you had a fair bit done as a draft before running the poll. Otherwise that's a huge amount of work in such a short time
