Creating wireframes/mockups - ever tried Balsamiq? Any similar plugins for Xara?

Hi

- Have any of you tried 'Balsamiq' to create mockups?

- And is there a Xara Plug-in that does something similar?

Background:
- We need to generate a mockup of a website. (i.e. we need to create some 'wireframes').

I am a longstanding Xara user (e.g. Xara Xtreme Pro), but I quite like the 'sketchy' feel for what Balsamiq generates (balsamiq.com) because it generates something that when it is created it is clear that this is only ROUGHLY what we meant, rather than EXACTLY this design/layout/font etc.

- Any thoughts?

Balsamiq is great for website mockups and many people use it. Like all similar software it's great for making mockups using fairly standard components, but not so good for any designs that don't fit the standard components. One of the great things about balsamiqs style is that it can't be mistaken for anything but a prototype design, rather than a design near completion. Try it out. If it suits you use it.
