    Default seamless tiles

For 10 years now I have owned CorelDraw 9. It is always loaded on my PC.
I have a soft spot for it, as it contains Corel Texture, which isn't automatically installed, but can be selected on a custom install. I believe Corel ditched the program after version 9 which is a big shame. I use the texture feature a lot. Today I discovered another reason for using the program. it is a plugin called Terrazzo, which makes seamless tiles from photos. It is a very flexible plugin, but I notice it isn't shipped with CD X3.
You just import a photo into CorelDraw, and with it selectes, go to the Bitmap menu/Plugins/Fancy/Terrazzo. I didn't know it existed until today!
Attached is a photo of some poppies taken last spring. I've also attached the seamless tile made from Terrazzo - feel free to use it. I think the result looks very festive.
I will be using it for cards next Christmas. Terrazzo is available at $69 from here Only the Mac version is available as a download, Windows version for some reason is done the old-fashioned way. As CorelDraw 9 is available on ebay for £51.00 inclusive, it may be the better deal.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a cool plugin. I didn't see it in CorelDraw 12 either. By the way the $69 appears to be a monthly special, it's normally $99.
Looks like it creates really neat designs. Might be good for web site backgrounds too.
