    Default Unable to locate files

I am using Vista Ultimate and have installed Paint Shop Pro X2 but cannot locate my photos in a file I have opened in the program using Windows Explorer. I have a similar problem locating photos when I want to attach a file in Outlook. I know I can attach a photo directly from Paint Shop Pro but why can't I locate the file using the attach facility in Outlook.

    Thanks

    Hi Jamima1,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

I do not know if Paint Shop Pro X2 places files in a different location than other programs.

On my Vista Ultimate system the files are placed in the Pictures folder.

In older versions of Windows the My Pictures folder was a subfolder of My Documents. In Vista it is a subfolder of the user's profile folder.

Click the Windows button (located where the Start button was in previous versions of Windows).

Click your User Name. Should be top of the list in the right side of the Windows Menu.

Click on Pictures. Use either the Favorites or Folders pane on the left.

    See attachments.

Thumbs up Re: Unable to locate files

    Hello Soquili

I can see I have been approaching this problem from the wrong angle in trying to save within the Paint Shop Program which is what I have done in previous versions. Thank you for the suggestion of saving in Pictures instead.
It is much easies and makes it easy to locate a photo to attach in an email.
