The poppy. April/May is their time to appear in this part of the world. After an awfully wet winter and a sunny couple of weeks, the garden resembles a jungle at the moment. I don't have the heart to hack it all down and lose these, at least that's my excuse for being bone-idle. I liked the way this snap turned out, though.
