    Default Sketchup plugin for Modo

I installed a plugin that imports Sketchup files directly into Modo.
I downloaded this model from the Google 3D warehouse.
Imported it directly into Modo and rendered.
So far it looks pretty good. I have not used sketchup for a long time, I am going to have to check out some SKU modeling functions myself to see if the old boolean operations problems have been solved.

You can download it from your Modo account "Registered products area"

Just remember that it doesn't work with SU7. Works fine with SU6 and below.

Modo has since evolved into version 401, the latest from Lux. the COLLADA format will be used for interfacing with Google SketchUp. The COLLADA plug-in is still in testing at this time. Hence, if you want to import .SKP files, you will need to use modo 302, not modo 401. Google has indicated that COLLADA will be their intermediary format of choice as well.
