AI Importing with X4

Receive an error message that the file I am trying to improt is compressed. Please resave and Try again. I use the Import function. Is there a fix for this?

CorelDraw does not handle compressed ai files because of the compression algorithm used by Adobe. CorelDraw X4 can either open or import a regular ai file. If you got the file from someone else, have them save the file uncompressed and it should work for you.

I tried to get this info form Corel and they were not able to tell me so now I know.
