    Default Skagway Gold

This is a mixed Xara vector/ raster painting of Skagway. 20"x 15" using my own reference materials. If you haven't been to Skagway the white markings on the mountainsde are paintings left by previous ship crews.

Where would you insert the SD card though Ron?

    Gray that's a fantastic job.
The more time between your posts I realize means we get an even better treat.
I love the misty feel and the water reflections.

Can I assume that was a rhetoric question sledger, or were you going to run a book???

    Gray...Nice one!

Can't see the plane, but I'm sure it's hidden in the fog!

Thanks Ron, Steve, John, BR for taking a look.

Steve that's not a pleasant picture.

BR, you're right. I should have put a Beaver float plane in the distance.

    Wow.
Gray do you need, amongst other skills, a good memory (maybe even a photographic memory) to produce detail like this?

Thanks Paul, Anas, John for your comments.

Anas, I'd be in big trouble if I relied on my memory. Living on the west coast I've been to Alaska a few times so I have lots of photo references. I did think about putting the train in that goes down the warf but thought it might be too busy looking.
