    @Ross
    Thank you for pointing me to the right direction. Now I can join my line-shapes very quickly and easy :-)

    Jup,

    A different application to what has been described by Ross, Gary and Rich.

    My image in this post was drawn, and created the same way. I absolutely love the "break shapes" technique, as it's a really, really fast way of drawing. I just used a bit fatter line, and placed the end points ontop of an existing line.

    All the areas with different colours, are the cells created when performing "break shapes."

    A benefit of creating your shapes this way is that nothing is overlapping, and it enables you to slice and dice your shapes very easily - as in this clown image.

    However, you will always end up with those lines in there...

    You could draw bigger, and thus minimizing the lines to a certain extent, as in this bird example (the first time I tried it.) You could make them even less visible by drawing really big, but it might be more work than it's worth.

    Rebel without a cause.
    Risto. I always admire your technique. The Blue terrorist is extremely striking. I don't know if it was intentional, but the figure comes across as very benign and sexless. It could be a hapless male peasant or a young misguided girl, sucked into a conflict with little conviction. The figure shows no malice, almost a disinterest, which makes the image more striking. The 'exploding' background adds further to the image, is it destiny or fate?
    Love it.

    Egg, you are too kind! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

    The little person is actually very loosely based on a photograph of my youngest daughter. No she did not have a gun in her hands... Depending on how the image is captioned - that would set the message. In general, I'm not much for kids, or anyone that can't spell their own name, having access to any kind apparatus that ejects projectiles that could hurt someone...
