Maybe time/reason to upgrade Bob
Could be...I've often thought of going to photo shop I have a stepson in collage so I could get a big discount but I don't really know if I will like it any better than psp....Bob...BTW Steve which Pentax do you shoot? I shoot a k10d and still have my old ds as a backup....Bob
I still use my *istDS - and not nearly often enough either
Have you set up the monitor using the psp wizard befor turning on colour managment
I don't think there is a monitor wizard in psp 9 and I would be afraid it would mess up my color settings of my monitor. I calibrate my monitor with an eye one display 2 calibrator....Bob
Hi Bob
I think Trev may be on to something here - there are four related sections in PSP9 help - it may simply be a gamma adjustment or a calibration problem
note the gamma adjustment does not affect other applications - see attached - I do not know about the calibration.. but your monitor is already calibrated so that should be covered..

There has been a some form of monitor wizard in each PSP i have used from 7 on-wards and yes in 9 its the monitor Gama. X and X2 being a bit more work and more sophisticated. But if your Monitor has been calibrated and you have a profile then you will have that set in windows no doubt. If so don't set it a second time in PSP otherwise you doing two corrections. so You don't need it turned on in your PSP if its set in windows.
