With my new job I don't get much time to design, spending too much time in the shop to get anything else done. However, we are putting together a conference this summer and I needed to set the branding and site design for it. So here it is...

Nothing grand, but it is all mine from the new logo bug to the photo and the layout. If you're interested in armour and think you might want to know more, or come to the seminar you can see the live site here..

It's not quite done, so excuse the mess as we finish things off this week.

Just another odd turn in the career of a almost past-xaran user (just hanging on my my fingernails) I would say there isn't that much difference between designing and restoring medieval armour but I think we all know I'd be lying. But I've never been one to do the same thing for too long.

    Take care and enjoy.

    Hi Joe,

The front page has a nice feel about it. Professional, clean... I personally feel you have too much real estate dedicated to navigation. You have at least half the page.

Why make your visitors scroll down on every page? Put the helmet at the bottom of the page for every other page but the first. Or put the logo on the bottom.

Just my measely opinion... No harm intended.

    Joe,
I wouldn't change a thing. I guess you could shrink something down, but I don't mind scrolling so much. I like it the way it is.
